Job Description

Role : Cloud Developer &  Cloud Service Engineer
 
Location : Pune  / Bangalore
 
Responsibilities
·        Coordinate with Product teams (Management, User Experience, Mobile
apps) to design and build out web services that align with the product
roadmap
·        Develop and deploy new Cloud services for mobile apps; own &
maintain existing services
·        Optimize the implementation to maximize speed and scale, factoring
in mobile network latency and limitations of interacting with embedded
devices.
·        Work with external service providers to evaluate and integrate
prototypes; coordinate with product team to make recommendations and deliver
high quality product
·        Work in an Agile environment to quickly iterate over the
design-build-test-measure cycles
·        Coordinate with Program Managers to manage projects priorities,
deadlines and deliverables.
·        Work with external vendors to evaluate and integrate prototypes and
application modules
·        Develop processes and support the infrastructural work to
continuously validate the robustness and responsiveness of the applications.
 
Minimum Qualifications
·        Master’s degree in Computer Science, EE or related technical
discipline. Alternately, BS in Computer Science with 7+ years of experience
·        5+ years of prior experience with building web services for mobile
apps

Preferred Qualifications
·        Experience developing / integrating with mobile apps on Android
and/or iOS.
·        Exposure to Firebase platform technologies such as Real-time
Database, Cloud Functions, Remote Config, etc.
·        Exposure to some of the internal Google technologies.
